Accordingly, 15 waste treatment projects have been granted licenses for investment and construction of plants treating garbage to fertilizers, power, fuel and burning hazardous waste with the aim to reduce garbage burying rate to less than 15 percent. These projects cost over VND7,200 billion.
So far, Dong Nai has 11 projects at 9 waste treatment sites put into operation which are invested by local enterprises with total cost of nearly VND800 billion. At present, garbage at the other dump sites is being treated by packing and transporting to waste treatment sites.
