Among many such convergence venues for ethnic minority people, a bustling flea market in Ban Phiet Ward, Bao Thang District in the northern province is a worthwhile destination for visitors.
The market is only open on Mondays on National Highway 4D; however, it draws special attention of local people and tourists from far and wide thanks to its colorful and bustling sight.
Despite on a small scale, the market, frequented by White H’Mong ethnic women, mainly sells colorful clothes of ethnic people such as skirts, jackets, waistbands and hats.
Once arriving at the market in the early morning, visitors can experience the harsh cold atmosphere in the northern upland province and learn more about daily lives of ethnic minority groups.
