(ĐN)- On November 3, Dong Nai’s delegation led by Chairman Huynh Van Toi of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee visited and handed over VND500 million to support flood-affected residents in Thanh Hoa province, helping them overcome disaster consequences.
On behalf of Dong Nai’s party and people, Chairman Huynh Van Toi shared losses in humans and property caused by the recent natural disasters in Thanh Hoa and expected that people in this province will soon recover from the floods and stabilise their lives.
Chairman Nguyen Van Tuan of Thanh Hoa provincial Fatherland Front Committee said that the 10th storm caused severe damage to the locality. It left 24 people dead and missing and more than 5 injured. The typhoon destroyed over 700 houses. Total damage has to date amounted to VND3.3 trillion.
On this occasion, the delegation visited and donated VND5-10 million each to families those who lost family members.
The delegation will continue visit Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces in coming days
