Particularly, Phong Thai Corp built a dorm with 608 rooms to accommodate 5,000 workers in Trang Bom district. Vietnam Precision Industrial J.S Company completed rooms for 400 workers. Hung Nghiep Formosa also invested US$6.2 million to construct houses for some 2,000 laborers.
The province has recently handed over 67.8 ha of land to implement 12 workers housing projects. Accordingly, local businesses will invest VND637 billion to build houses for 98,000 workers.
