(ĐN)- On July 16, hundreds of soldiers and young members gathered to start their public relations tasks in Xuan Thien commune, Thong Nhat district.
On this occasion, Thong Nhat district’s Military Headquarters pledged to take care of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Hanh for her whole life, handed over two charity houses totaling VND120 million for households with difficult circumstances.
The delegation also presented 100 gifts for policy families, war invalids and poor households, provided free medical check-ups and medicines to 400 needy people with a total cost of some VND200 million.
Earlier, on July 13-14, Xuan Loc district’s armed force also launched their community work at Gia Ray town. Accordingly, the soldiers helped local residents to upgrade roads and clean up the environment.
