Nearly VND100 bil to be spent for maintaining roads

(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Department of Transport, the province will need nearly VND100 billion to upgrade traffic roads in 2017.

 

(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Department of Transport, the province will need nearly VND100 billion to upgrade traffic roads in 2017.

Of the total, over VND50 billion will be spent for repairing traffic systems while more than VND40 billion will be for regular maintenance.

As planned, the department will continue to work with localities and investors for the implementation of build-operate-transfer (BOT) projects, such as special road for transporting construction materials, adjustment of Road 768, Road 10, Road 319 connecting expressway, etc.

Speaking at the conference held by the department on January 18, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh asked the department to urge projects under investment for construction to complete in line with the process and tighten the management of vehicles in order to reduce traffic accidents.
