Last school year, LHU had continued its effort to improve comprehensively its training activities. The university is providing training on 20 university-level majors, 6 MA-level majors and 2 PhD-level ones. With the aims to support graduates in seeking jobs, LHU has provided a lot of free-of-charge training programs for them, including program on Japanese enterprise culture, basic Japanese courses, start-ups courses, etc.
Notably, LHU successfully organized start-up contest for students and many start-up projects with feasibility will receive financial support with capital at around VND2 billion from Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs’ Association. Last year, 2,100 students graduated from the university. Of them, many had been employed by local enterprises during their apprenticeship.
At the ceremony, LHU received sponsorship from 23 businesses in the province to award scholarships to students. The school also spent VND3 billion to award scholarships to students with excellent achievements, high scores at entrance examination and studious poor students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep suggested LHU to continue its efforts to train higher quality students as well as to become the university to supply of high quality human resources for businesses in Dong Nai and other provinces and cities nationwide.
