Addressing at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Nguyen Quoc Hung suggested DNU to continue its efforts to train high quality human resources for society as well as to bring the university’s trade name to new height.
The university should improve the professional skills of its lecturers and staff, expand and develop new majors in accordance with the social demand, improve training methods, self-educated among students, apply information technology into teaching and studying, boost scientific researches and training cooperation.
The province’s authorities will continue to increase investment in education and training sector and DNU as well, he added.
DNU has now four campuses with 300 lecturers and staff. The university is home to more than 15,000 students from intermediate to university levels in 12 majors. This school year, DNU enrolled 2,000 new students.
