(ĐN) - In the morning of Oct 15, the “Giving strength to students” scholarship awarding ceremony was held at the provincial Party Committee’s meeting hall with the attendance of Head of Mass Mobilisation Commission Ho Thanh Son.
At the ceremony, the organizer awarded 250 scholarships totaling VND938 million to disabled and poor students.
Particularly, 122 primary students got VND3 million each, 68 junior high students, VND4 million, and 60 high school students, VND5 million.
The scholarships aim to encourage students with disabilities and disadvantaged ones to overcome difficulties and continue their study.
