(ĐN)- On Oct 13, a delegation of the Steering Committee on the Search and Repatriation of Remains of Fallen Soldiers (known as Committee 1237) had a working session with Dong Nai on search and collection of the remains of martyrs.
At the session, the delegation hailed the province's efforts in searching and collecting remains of martyrs over the past time as well as relevant agencies for their close coordination with the board in the efforts.
According to the provincial Steering Committee 1237, Dong Nai has been deploying the search and collection of the remains of martyrs promptly. In 2016, 13 remains of martyrs have been found and collected in Bien Hoa city, Long Khanh town, Long Thanh and Cam My districts.
On this occasion, the provincial People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to 16 collectives and 28 individuals for their contributions in searching the remains of martyrs.
