(ĐN)- A solemn ceremony was held on November 18 to inaugurate Luong The Vinh Senior High School for Gifted Students and celebrate the 33rd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers’ Day (November 20th).
Started construction in July 2014, the school, which is located at Le Quy Don street, Tan Hiep ward, Bien Hoa city, covers a total area of nearly 24,000 m2 with the total investment of VND120 billion, includes five blocks for classrooms, functional rooms library, hall, and sport facilities.
On this occasion, the school installed statue of First Doctoral Candidate Luong The Vinh on its campus. The provincial People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives, 17 individuals for their outstanding performance in teaching and studying. Meanwhile, 1 collective and 8 teachers received certificates of merit from the Ministry of Education and Training for their excellent achievements in well teaching-well studying emulation campaign last school year.
