(ĐN)- On October 17, Le Dinh Nhon scholarship awarding ceremony was held at Dong Nai Radio and Television.
At the ceremony, 94 high-school students received scholarships worth VND2 million each and 6 university students got scholarships valued at VND3 million.
Le Dinh Nhon is former Deputy Secretary of the Southeast region’s Party Committee. The VND1 billion scholarship program was established in 2012 with the financial resource from his family. So far, around 468 ethnic minority students at high schools and universities in Dong Nai received the scholarships.
Over the past years, the scholarship fund also received sponsors from organizations and individuals inside and outside the province.
