(ĐN)- During two days, Dong Nai Youth Union’s delegation visited and handed over VND50 million to fisheries surveillance force and VND100 million to Vietnamese coast guard who are on duty to defend sea and island sovereignty.
This is one of activities to respond to the campaign “For beloved islands” launched by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. The event is also aimed to demonstrate Dong Nai young people’s patriotism and strong determination to defend the nation’s territorial integrity and marine sovereignty.
On the same day, at the 2013-2014 school year closing ceremony of Dong Nai Children House, more than VND30 million has been raised for the fund for soldiers and fishermen on Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spartly) archipelagos
