Dong Nai has so far employed 30 Filipino teachers of English, aiming to meet the demand of teaching and studying the language of local secondary and high schools and Dong Nai university in the province.
In 2013, the province recruited 23 Filipino teachers including 8 teachers with Master's degree, 14 ones with Bachelor's degree and one with College degree.
The foreign teachers have helped local students improve their English proficiency and shared their knowledge about effective teaching methodologies and supplemental activities, especially in speaking and listening skills with Vietnamese teachers of English.
