On this occasion, 40 of them also received Tet gifts from the provincial Labour Union.
On Thursday, Taekwang Vina corporation, headquartered at Bien Hoa city, sent its charity delegation to visit and offer nearly 100 Tet gifts to poor people in Xuan Loc district.
Earlier, on January 22, the corp’s trade union presented 250 gifts valued at VND400,000 each to poor workers and 13 gifts worth VND1 million each to poor workers with fatal disease.
On this occasion, the provincial Labour Union also gave 35 gifts worth each VND400,000 to poor workers.
In the evening of January 23, Trang Bom district-based Salim company held an art performance to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Horse for its workers who can’t return home for Tet celebrations.
At the event, the company’s trade union presented 45 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to poor workers.
