(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front sent a congratulatory letter to the education sector, students and parents across the province to mark the beginning of the 2012-2013 academic year, which will start tomorrow.
In the letter, the leader praised the great efforts made by teachers and students in the last academic year. The quality and management of education have seen positive progress and are continuing to improve.
The letter also stressed that the 2011-2012 school year is of great significance for the education sector as it has adopted a basic reform of education and training under the 9th Provincial Party Congress Resolution, aiming to raise the quality of human resources in order to meet the province’s new requirements in the process of industrialization and modernization.
Accordingly, the education sector should continue reforms to provide comprehensive education, build a healthy educational environment and promote students’ creativity and innovation, orienting students towards fields in need of high quality human resources.
More than 600,000 students throughout the province will begin the 2011-2012 academic year on September 5.
