Over the past six months, more than 135,000 people nationwide have joined vocational training courses; over 91,000 of them finished the courses and 75,000 labourers received jobs after being trained. According to the plan, around 600,000 rural labourers will be provided vocational training in 2012.
In the first six months of this year, Dong Nai offered vocational training for nearly 7,300 laborers, ranking fourth in the country.
At the meeting, Deputy PM urged provinces and cities nationwide to further concentrate on improving the quality of vocational training and job creation for rural workers.
