In the morning of August 31, the leaders from the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee laid wreaths and burnt incense at Dong Nai province’s Martyrs Cemetery to commemorate the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence.
On this occasion, Nguyen Hue University handed over a gratitude house worth VND60 million to the family of Tran Vo Dong Giang, a martyr’s son and the university’s good teacher.
Dong Nai provincial Labour Union also donated VND20 million to build a charity house for Ms. Tran Thi Can, Binh Minh pre-school’s trade union member, in Thong Nhat district’s Bau Ham 2 commune.
Long Khanh town’s “Paying debt of gratitude” Fund spent VND40 million to construct a gratitude house for the family of Mr. Phan Van Ngan, a war invalid in Lac Chieu village.
