(ĐN)- Since the beginning of the year, Dong Nai province’s Agriculture Promotion Centre donated VND210 million to build 175 biogas plants for pig farmers across the province.
Only August, 25 plants were constructed and put into operation.
Launched in 2003 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV), the biogas project aims to help boost economic development, save energy and reduce environmentally toxic gases and improve the living environment.
So far, more than 4,000 biogas plants at household levels have been built in Dong Nai.
