(ĐN)- The National Informatics Contest for Young Civil Servants 2016 concluded at Dong Nai Radio-Television Station in Bien Hoa city on October 30.
After three days of competitions, Dong Nai province took the lead in the contest, followed by the Ministry of Finance and Da Nang city.
In addition, the organizing board award 7 first, 16 second, 28 third and 46 consolation prizes. Accordingly, Dong Nai scored 1 first prize in the category for creativeness for the solution entitled “Information system about land under modern model with the orientation of multi-functional purposes” by contestants from the provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment, along with 3 second and 1 third prizes for individuals and teams.
The event jointly held by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Vietnam Informatics Association, attracted the participation of 139 contestants in 37 provinces, cities and 7 central departments and organs, competing in categories of individuals, teams and creative products.
The event aimed to promote public workers' effective application of information technology in work, raise the quality of young public workers, making contributions to well carrying out the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies on information technology application and administrative reform.
It also honored outstanding individuals with good information technology knowledge and skills as well as promote team work skills.
