(ĐN)- The final round of the 2015 Robot contest themed “Robots go shopping”, attracted 21 outstanding robots which were selected from the qualifying round of contestants across the province.
The competition was jointly held by the provincial Children House, Department of Education and Training and Department of Science and Technology.
The contestants were divided into two groups, including junior high school and the high school contestants. Each robot has a period of 10 minutes to buy 6 items and then display them on the shelf.
As a result, the top prizes were given to the robot Sumatro – NT2 of the contestants from the Dong Nai Economic and Technical School in Nhon Trach district and the other of the first team of the Lac Hong Bilingual School in Bien Hoa city.
The annual contest aims to encourage creativeness among students, helping them develop their skills as well as become inventors in the future.
