John Sculley, former CEO of Apple, on Wednesday launched two smartphones in Vietnam under his newly-founded brand Obi Worldphone.

It was the first debut of Android-powered SF1 and SJ1.5 outside the US, where they were unveiled at the end of last month, Sculley said at the launching ceremony.
The phones, which will be on sale next month, target young people who love devices with good designs at affordable prices, he said.
Both versions feature dual-SIM capability and a 5-inch display.
The more expensive SF1 starts at VND5.5 million (US$241) for 16GB version. It sports a 13-megapixel autofocus camera, and 5-megapixel secondary front camera, both with LED flash. It is also equipped with Dolby Audio and quick charge technologies.
Its sibling SJ1.5 is expected to be sold at less than VND3 million ($131.7) with almost similar features, except for an 8-megapixel rear camera and an HD display screen instead of Full HD.
With its smartphone sales surging 27 percent in the first six months to 6 million units, Vietnam is now one of the fastest-growing markets in Southeast Asia, according to the latest report by German market research company GfK.
