This is the first time red lingzhi mushrooms were unveiled in Vietnam.

This mushroom species is named Gannoderma Cf. Pfeifferii, which is often seen in Europe.

It was not named in Vietnam’s list of mushrooms before. The mushroom was immediately named Linh chi DaLat Palace.

Researchers only found three premature red lingzhi mushrooms. The largest tree was only 10cm in diameter. Scientists said that this species can reach 50cm in diameter.

The Lam Dong Science and Technology Department is collecting samples to protect the genetic sources.
