The incidence of this disease is currently 100 cases lower than that in the same period last year.
An Bình, Long Bình, Trảng Dài, Phước Tân, Tam Phước, Long Bình Tân, and Tân Phong wards have been hit hard by the disease.
From now to the year’s end, the city's health sector will continue to enhance communication campaigns to raise public awareness of the issue, especially in vulnerable areas.
Because there is no vaccine or antiviral agent available, following good hygiene practices such as washing hands regularly and disinfecting surrounding areas are the best ways to prevent the disease from spreading.
