Addressing at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri highly praised the efforts made by the province’s health sector and other related agencies in well implementing the program as well as achieve the set targets, contributing to the province’s socio-economic development.
The Vice Chairman suggested that, in the coming time, the provincial Steering Committee on population-family planning should work out plan for population-family planning for the 2015-2020 period with the focus on reproductive health care for workers at industrial parks, people at remote areas and farmers in new rural communes.
He also asked the localities in the province to promote the propaganda activities to raise the public awareness on population-family planning as well as pay more attention in training human resources for population-family planning work.
