Anh won the champion title after defeating 15-year-old Nguyen Nhat Long in the event for amateur male golfers at Vietnam MatchPlay Championship. In the women’s category, Japanese Vietnamese Hanako Kawasaki won the title.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Duy Hai won the middle-aged golfers’ event of the Vietnam MatchPlay Championship. Tran Le Duy Nhat won the VPG Tour MatchPlay Championship’s professional event.
