(ĐN)- Athletes from Dong Nai scored 4 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze medals to rank 9th at the 2018 National Sports Festival for Disabled People which recently concluded in Da Nang city.
The gold medals were won by Nguyen Van Bich in 400m T53/4 wheelchair race, Pham Tong Trong in weight category of 80kg in weightlifting event while Tran Thi Chau and Ly Duc Quyen scored the gold medals in weight categories of 67kg and 92kg in boccia event, respectively.
Team from HCM city topped the festival, followed by Ha Noi and Da Nang.
The festival attracted the participation of 1,300 disabled athletes from 30 provinces and cities nationwide, competing in 9 games.
