Incense offering ceremony held in honour of Hung Kings

(ĐN)- An incense offering ceremony was held at the Hung Kings Temple in Binh Da ward, Bien Hoa city on April 25 or the tenth day of the third lunar month to commemorate the national founders, Hung Kings.

(ĐN)- An incense offering ceremony was held at the Hung Kings Temple in Binh Da ward, Bien Hoa city on April 25 or the tenth day of the third lunar month to commemorate the national founders, Hung Kings.

The event was attended by Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep of the provincial People’s Committee, Chairman Pham Anh Dung of Bien Hoa city’s People Council, together with representatives from departments, agencies and local residents.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Bien Hoa city People’s Committee Phan Chi Cuong delivered a eulogy praising the Kings for founding and protecting the nation,

Secretary Cuong and delegates laid wreaths and offered incense and flowers in tribute to the Hung Kings and other ancestors at the main temple.

Earlier, a cooking contest of traditional “chung” and “giay” cakes, dragon-and-phoenix-shaped fruit decoration, and cultural performances drew teams across the city.

The same day, localities across the province also held a wide range of activities in commemoration of the Hung Kings.
