In addition, Tran Thi Chau of Dong Nai also broke the national record and won a berth in the national team to compete at the 9th ASEAn Para Games.
Hosts HCM city ranked first in the medal tally, followed by Ha Noi and Quang Tri.
The event brought together more than 1,000 athletes and coaches across the country, competing in nine sports – track and field, swimming, table tennis, weightlifting, badminton, chess, boccia, football and tennis – for 700 sets of medals.
The tournament aims to prepare athletes for the 9th ASEAN Para Games and the 2017 Asian Youth Para Games.
