Quang will play versus Vietnam’s top shutler Nguyen Tien Minh in the semi-finals on May 11.
The event, the first of its kind held in Dong Nai province, attracted 104 athletes from 17 teams across the country, competing in the men’s and women’s singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
The tournament will last through May 12.
