The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has announced Farming Kindergarten designed by Vo Trong Nghia located in Dong Nai Province is one of 30 buildings under consideration for the inaugural RIBA International Prize.
The architectural awards committee will visit Farming Kindergarten this summer along with all of the other buildings. The winner will be announced in December 2016.
His company, Vo Trong Nghia Architects, now comprises 50 local and international architects.
The company is well known for having designed the Vietnamese pavilion for the World Expo in both Shanghai (2010) and Milan (2015).
It won five World Architecture Festival Awards (2014 and 2012) and in 2012, Nghia was named Architect of the Year in Vietnam.
