An exhibition of artifacts establishing Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa Archipelagos opened on Cu Lao Cham Island off Hoi An on May 23.
It is being held to mark the 15th anniversary of Hoi An being recognized as a world cultural heritage and fifth anniversary of Cham Island being recognized as a world biosphere reserve.
It features more than 64 photos, maps, publications, and other items (photo).
They include very old photos from the Qing Dynasty era in 1909, documents, and Nguyen Dynasty royal documents indicating Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.
