Vietnamese athletes set up three records at the on going Para Games in Solo City, in Indonesia, on December 19.
Powerlifter Chau Hoang Tuyet Loan elevated 98kg to win her gold medal and set a new record in the women's up-to-52kg category.
She lifted 3kg more than fellow countrywoman Dinh Thi Nga, who set the previous record at the Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2009.
Nguyen Thi Sa Ri made her dream come true with a record in the women's 100m breaststroke swimming event.
After a disappointing result in the 50m breaststroke on December 16, Ri finished first in the 100m breaststroke with a time of 2min 20.20sec to break her own previous record of 2:27.30.
Vietnam's third record went to swimmer Vo Thanh Tung who finished his 100m freestyle race in 1min 19.62sec to break the eight-year-old 1:32.20 record of Thai Kaewkham Voravit.
It was Tung's second record at the Games. His first was set up in the 50m butterfly event on December 16.
After seven days, Vietnamese athletes have broken 14 records alongside pocketing four gold medals in swimming, one in power lifting and two in athletics.
