(ĐN)- Dong Nai's industrial production index (IPI) in February rose by 5.7 percent year-on-year, boosted by the growth of metal ore mining (4.3 percent), manufacturing and processing (5.5 percent), electricity production and supply (9.5 percent), and water supply and waste and wastewater treatment (7.3 percent).

Some industries enjoyed a surge in IPI, such as textiles (6.3 percent); clothing production (6.3 percent); chemical products (8 percent) leather and related products (9.6 percent); rubber and plastic products (11 percent), wood processing and products from wood (10 percent)
Meanwhile, industrial products with drops in the index included food processing and production (1 percent); furniture (4 percent).
