Of the amount, US$248 million was poured into 17 new projects, primarily in support industry. Meanwhile, nearly US$238 million was added to 30 existing projects.
The Republic of Korea, Japan and China took the lead among countries and territories investing in the province in the period.
In April only, the total newly registered and adjusted capital by foreign investors reached US$165 million.
As of April-end, 1,363 FDI projects worth a total of over US$27 billion have set up camp in the province.
