(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s industrial production index expanded by only 1.2 percent in the first four months of this year due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, marking the lowest increase seen in many years.
Of which, mining sector grew by 2.8 percent, manufacturing and processing sector expanded by 2 percent, while water supply and waste treatment sector up 4.5 percent.
Electricity production and distribution sector posted a 10 percent decrease in growth.
In addition, other industrial products also lose production value due to an extended epidemic including textiles and garment, wood products, electronics, metals, etc.
