(ĐN)- Dong Nai earned a total turnover of US$157.5 million from textile and garment exports in March this year, a month-on-month increase of over 10%, according to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
The March figure accounted for nearly 10 percent of the province’s export turnover and brought the three-month export value to some US$457.5 million.
In this period, Dong Nai’s shipments of textile and garment products to the three major markets of Cambodia, Indonesia and France experienced encouraging respective growths of 4.3 percent, 18 percent and around 17 percent, reaching US$24 million, US$20.5 million and US$31.6 million.
Meanwhile, Dong Nai’s apparel exports to Japan, the US and the Republic of Korea saw a slight decrease due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic,..
The province’s textile and garment products are now exported to more than 100 countries and territories nationwide.
