(ĐN)- Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology (DoST) on December 19 organized a conference on supporting an innovative startup ecosystem in the province by 2020 with an orientation to 2025.

DoST’s Director Nguyen Thi Hoang said, according to the province’s project of supporting an innovative startup ecosystem in the period of 2020-2023, the council of consultancy, coordinating the innovative startup ecosystem network had been established and is chaired by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh. The council will study and request mechanisms and polices to build the province’s innovative startup ecosystem network, host innovative startup events, etc.
At the conference, representatives from Ministry of Science and Technology, the consultancy and supporting council for startup projects in the southern region under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and startup experts presented issues related to polices supporting innovative startup ecosystem in Vietnam, roles of startup counselors and investors in startup ecosystem, etc.
In addition, representatives from enterprises in Dong Nai also presented models of successful startups and shared their ideas about supporting startup projects.
