The US$7-million factory, covering 6 hectares, was built under a partnership between the GreenFeed Vietnam JS Company and Dofico. It is equipped with two slaughtering lines for pigs and chickens, and a European-standard food production system.
With technologies imported from Germany and Denmark, the factory can slaughter 250,000 – 300,000 pigs and 6 – 9 million chickens a year to produce about 19,000 tons of pork and 10,000 – 13,000 tons of chicken meat.
In addition, the factory will produce from three to five tons of processed food products such as sausages and hams every day. These products will ensure the quality and safety for fresh meat and processed food.
As far as known, pigs slaughtered at the factory were raised under Greenfeed standards. The products will be then sold to consumers via Wyn food store chain which ensure the quality and can be traced their origins.
