(ĐN) - Dong Nai exported some 183,000 tonnes of coffee for US$328 million in the first nine months of 2018, up 31 percent in volume and down 7 percent in value from a year ago, according to Department of Industry and Trade.
This month’s coffee prices averaged about US$1,700 per tonne. Meanwhile, the average price in January – June was estimated at US$1,790 per tonne.
Germany, the US, Italy and Belgium were among the province’s key export markets.The coffee export market is estimated to face difficulties due to the bumper crops, plentiful supplies from top coffee-growers such as Brazil and Indonesia.
Dong Nai’s coffee has been exported to 50 countries and territories.
