In January, retail sales and service revenues saw a small decrease of 1 percent month-on-month to around VND12.4 trillion. Accordingly, the non-State sector accounted for nearly all of the value of retail goods and services.
The trade industry showed the highest revenue with over VND19.2 trillion, followed by service sector, VND3.5 trillion, and the hotel-restaurant sector with VND2.1 trillion.
