(ĐN)- Dong Nai Farmers Association’s Supporting Fund for Farmers in the first six months of this year raised nearly VND2.3 billion to assist local poor farmers.
Particularly, the fund has helped two of thousands of farmers to develop their business, making effective contributions to fostering farmers’ movements and improving their lives.
Moreover, the association mobilized more than VND83 billion from rich farmers to provide interest-free loans to over 2,800 poor farming households, supported more than 49,000 seedlings, 35,000 breeding animals and 18 tones of agricultural materials to difficult members.
Presently, the association’s Supporting Fund for Farmers has a total capital of over VND15.2 billion.
