Accordingly, Ben Luc-Long Thanh started construction in 2014, including section running through Nhon Trach and Long Thanh districts is under site clearance to pave the way for the project. Some of the project‘s construction packets for this section will be begun nest month.
Meanwhile, section from Dau Giay to Tan Phu of Dau Giay-Lien Khuong Expressway was proved by the Government for investment under Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model. Currently, the Ministry of Transport (MoT) is completing investment procedure, and is expected to complete legal procedure for site clearance and construction next year.
For the Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway which has been assigned by MoT to Management Board 85 to study the feasibility of component 1 from Bien Hoa to Tan Thanh and Cai Mep Port under the public-private partnership (PPP) model. The suggestion of the project is under MoT’s appraisal.
Currently, ministries, sectors are working with World Bank for ODA loan for the construction of the first section of Dau Giay-Phan Thiet Expressway. The Management Board 1 is seeking for MoT’s approval for investment in the section, and cooperating with Dong Nai province to carry out compensation procedure for site clearance.
