Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Phu Cuong asked the electricity sector to continue efforts to ensure power supply for production and daily life during 2015’s dry season, prevent power failures.

Campaigns to encourage households, enterprises and agencies to use energy economically and efficiently have worked well with nearly 253.5 million kWh of electricity saved last year. In 2014, the company invested VND311 billion into 81 new power projects to guarantee sufficient power supply for the province.
