The quantity of live pigs sold to the markets has increased 15-20% on the days near Tet. The prices of live pigs saw a slight decrease due to abundant supply, pricing at VND46,000-48,000 a kilo.
The main market of Dong Nai’s pigs is Ho Chi Minh city, accounting 80% of the total live pigs sold every day.
