PepsiCo inaugurates its beverage plant in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- PepsiCo, the world’s second-largest food and beverage business, officially inaugurated a new beverage plant at Amata Industrial Zone in Dong Nai province's Bien Hoa city on March 14.

(ĐN)- PepsiCo, the world’s second-largest food and beverage business, officially inaugurated a new beverage plant at Amata Industrial Zone in Dong Nai province's Bien Hoa city on March 14.

The PepsiCo bought the plant from San Miguel last month and invested $45 million to produce popular carbonated and non-carbonated PepsiCo beverages such as Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Twister, Sting, Aquafina purified water.

The factory is one of the largest PepsiCo beverage plants in Vietnam. It covers an area of more than 10 ha with a capacity of 180,000 liter per year.

This is the sixth plant of PepsiCo in the country, providing job opportunities for more than 2,000 direct labors and thousands of indirect labors.

At the ceremony, PepsiCo VN donated VND500 million to help disadvantage people in the province.
