(ĐN) - The Long Duc Investment Co Ltd has begun construction of the 281-ha Long Duc Industrial Zone (IZ) in Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province. The project is estimated at a cost of US$100 million and expected to be completed at the middle of 2013, said the company's managing director, Pham Nhat Hanh.

Donafoods established Long Duc Investment Co Ltd with three Japanese partners, including Sojitz Corporation, Daiwa House Industry Co Ltd and Kobelco Eco-Solutions Co Ltd, which holds 88 percent of the shares.
This new industrial zone will bring the total number of industrial zones in Dong Nai to 30, covering a combined area of over 9,500ha.
