At the handover ceremony, Chairman Nguyen Van Thang voiced his hope that the face masks will contribute to containing the spread of COVID-19 in Thailand.
He added that the assistance demonstrates the friendship, cooperation and mutual support between the Governments and people of Vietnam and the Thailand, including joint efforts in battling the ravaging pandemic.
Thai Consul General in HCM City Apirat Sugondhabhirom expressed his gratitude to Dong Nai province and spoke highly of efforts made by the province in fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.
