(ĐN)- As many as 78 percent of the province’s population has access to clean water meeting Ministry of Health standards as of October-end, according to Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The province targets to supply clean water meeting the Health Ministry’s standards to 80 percent of population by the end of this year.
Currently, the province is also deploying clean water supply projects to ensure hygienic water for locals.
There are 85 clean water projects operating in rural areas with a total capacity of 24,000 cu.m per day, supplying clean water to some 217,000 people.
