(ĐN)– Dong Nai Bar Association’s delegation on November 5 handed over VND121 million to Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee to help flood-affected people in central region.
Chairman Dao Van Phuoc of the Front thanked the delegation for their donation and pledged the money will be delivered to residents on schedule to help them stabilize their lives.
Over the past three weeks, the Front has raised more than 13 billion to support flood victims in the central region. It also sent delegations to visit and present gifts to flood-affected people.
Currently, organizations, individuals and enterprises inside and outside the province are still offering more material and spiritual support for compatriots in the central region ravaged recently by storms and flooding.
